“Now Living in Taipei” is my ongoing personal project. As an illustrator, I’d like to record the things happening in this city where I live now with my sketches.

Taipei is the capital of my country, and she is also regarded as my second hometown. I lived here for about 3 years when I was a teenager. She keeps almost all the wonderful youth memories that I have.

This year, 2020, coming back as an adult and an illustrator, I’d like to do something for her. When I started sketching, I didn’t have any plan for this project. While having more and more sketches done, I want to hold an exhibition at the end of this project.

「現居台北」是我目前正在進行中的個人系列作品。

台北，是我的第二故鄉（第一故鄉是台東），她保存了我美好而無可取代的青春回憶。幾年過去，如今我已成年，也多了一個「插畫家」的身份。

當年的青春少女帶領我尋訪過去的足跡，我也用新的身份，觀察、體會，試圖融入現場卻又保有「觀察者」的眼光，以圖文記錄這個城市中的點點滴滴。

這個計畫預計為期一年，等結束後我會尋求展覽機會，希望能以不同的形式呈現在觀眾面前。
