London Study Trip: the Design Museum

16 January was my first time to visit London! We, GDAD students, went to the Design Museum as the first stop. On the top floor, it was DESIGNER MAKER USER exhibition. At the beginning of the exhibition, the sentence: “FROM THE SPOON TO THE CITY” caught my eyes and widen my horizon. A design was not something only did on paper, computer or fashionable clothes. Breathtaking sceneries

These sceneries might be simple to people who live here for a long time, but it’s breathtaking to me.

Meet my new friends!

I was trying those new pens and pencils that I had received from the “Belated Christmas gift (art matirials box)”. Sadly, the light in my room was too yellow to show those cute friends’ true colors…😢 Never mind. It’s still a great pleasure to welcome them to join YUEHtopia!

In my country, most of the files and documents that could be used and “touched” are in the Libraries. For those memorial and precious things that were from a certain great person were locked in shelves, or displayed behind glasses. People couldn’t pick them up and take a look unless they apply for the usage first. If there is something that is touchable, that must be a copy of the original one. So, it was so…
