After finishing my work, I printed out the original version and the redesigned version of the patient education notice sheet of colonoscopy and displayed them with foam board on my desk at our studio.

Redesign Patient Education/Notice Sheet of Colonoscopy
Through four weeks of working, I finally finish my final outcome of the third project: Agents of Change. At first, I’d like to create a series of illustration to make brand new leaflets for patient education of colonoscopy.
The Structure of My Reflective Review of Semester One
I always create a structure before writing an article. It’s like the skeleton of the article and it makes me clear to know where am I while writing (it’s very easy to get lost in the sentences and words while writing). I’d like to share the structure of my writing with you, and perhaps you will find out the differences between the final written piece and this structure. Reflective Review of Semester One [Structure&Notes] Description (Introduction) Looking back, reflecting on each project (research topics), achievement, skills, struggling time, improvement learning environment (classmates, tutors…support 🙂 Evaluation What I have learnt and…

Evaluation of DTCI Project
At the beginning of our first project: Deciphering the Creative Industries (DTCI), Hannah gave us a checklist for our personal values to help us develop our project. When I was ticking the values from the checklist, I noticed that I would like to do something related to “Family”, “Inner harmony” and “Pleasure”. Based on the initial values, the idea of “Record your story” was more and more clear after the brainstorming mind map. Also, after I reviewed the existing journal article: Collaborators in Dreams, I chose to further explore the area of illustrated books. However, I didn’t realize that I…

COLLABORATORS IN DREAMS: My first task of research
We’re kind of giant children stuck in adult bodies… After searching for the proper article for a while, these pictures and the first sentence of the article captured my eyes. This article was from the journal of “ILLUSTRATION (AUTUMN 2016)”. Published by Cello Press Ltd. The article was an introduction (and manifesto?) of a new book: A Child of Books which was written and illustrated by the illustrator Oliver Jeffers and typographic artist Sam Winston. Oliver and Sam created two characters in this book to show all the books that inspired them as children. With the story, they were trying to encourage…
